Among the most important indicators that depend on political-economic-social stability is inflation control; because people's activism has a high tendency towards the stability of inflation; Therefore, gaining political power in societies depends on providing a program to control inflation. The increase in the high inflation rate is associated with macroeconomic instability, increased welfare, unfair distribution of wealth, and a decrease in household purchasing power. Monetarist considers excessive growth of money volume, excess demand in the commodity market, some cost pressure and increase in the price of production inputs, and institutionalists consider structural factors and bottlenecks in various economic and commercial sectors to be the main cause of inflation. Therefore, knowing the factors affecting inflation and providing a solution to control and reduce inflation can lead to socio-economic justice. The components of good governance can also lead to the reduction of inflation through the channel of increasing productivity and improving institutional quality and increasing the effectiveness of monetary and financial policies. This research aims to investigate the factors influencing inflation with an emphasis on good governance in oil exporting countries using the generalized moment method (GMM) in the time period (2011-2021). The obtained results indicate that the inflation break, the difference between GDP growth and liquidity growth had a positive effect and good governance had a negative effect on the inflation rate.

The literature has studied various factors affecting income inequality and the influence of energy security on the economy, while knowledge is rather limited regarding the linkage between energy security and income inequality. Therefore, in addition to conventional economic and financial aspects, the energy landscape requires a deeper examination of how energy market activities affect income inequality. The contributions of the current study can be summarized as follows: First, we fill the gap in the literature by examining the influence of energy security on income inequality. Second, unlike previous works, we delve into the non-linear impact of energy security on income inequality. Third, we employ a new DPT model to find the threshold variables. In current study, the effect of energy security in four dimensions (availability, accessibility, development capability and acceptability) on income inequality in Middle Eastern countries has been investigated. To achieve this goal, threshold panel regression and data from the period 2000-2021 have been used. The results show that among the four dimensions of energy security, only the acceptability dimension has a negative and significant effect on income inequality, and other energy dimensions do not have a significant effect on income inequality. The threshold level for the Middle East countries is calculated at 42032 dollars per capita. Therefore, governments should focus more on improving the efficiency of energy use. This not only helps to reduce the income gap, but also increases energy security optimally.

Oil production sustainability has always been the primary purpose of producers and consumers. However, achieving this objective turned into a challenge due to economic uncertainties and geopolitical risks. In this study, the Markov-Switching model has been applied to investigate the impact of economic uncertainties and geopolitical risks on Iran's and Saudi Arabia's oil production. The main results indicated that two regimes, including the ascending and descending regimes. Moreover, the economic uncertainties and geopolitical risks negatively and statistically impact Iran's oil production in both states; these variables similarly influence Saudi Arabia's oil production. According to these results, both countries should reduce the traditional rivalry and detente with each other to reach their long-term goals, such as maximizing their oil production revenue.

Due to the heavy reliance on oil revenue in oil-exporting countries, fluctuations in oil prices can impact the social behavior of individuals within society. As a result, it appears that social capital, as a process of social institutions, is affected by oil rent. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of oil rent on social capital in selected OPEC oil-exporting countries from 2009 to 2020 using the threshold panel method. The findings indicate that the threshold value for the ratio of oil rent to GDP is estimated at 3.4%. Prior to this threshold, the ratio of oil rent to GDP had a positive and significant effect on social capital; however, after surpassing this threshold, the ratio of oil rent had a negative and significant effect on social capital. Inflation also had a non-linear effect on social capital, while government size did not have a significant impact. Based on these results and the detrimental effects of high levels of oil rent on social capital, it is necessary to control methods that divert oil resources towards rent-seeking activities. One solution could be removing control over oil rent from governments and transferring it directly to citizens. Experience with government management of oil has shown that instead of optimal allocation, most funds have been spent destructively; therefore, mismanagement has turned this divine gift into a curse.

A major factor in the Iranian stock market is the risk-taking of the economy. The stock index falls when the economy is at higher risk, either by protests or the possibility of war. The present study was conducted to investigate the existence of fluctuations in the currency, stock, gold, and oil markets during the period 2017-2021 using the common t-test and the DCC-GARCH approach. The statistical population includes all companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange during the period 2017 to the end of 2021. The period was chosen due to significant fluctuations in exchange rates, coins, oil, and stocks. To achieve the purpose of the study, first, a descriptive study of coin price trends, exchange rates, and stock and oil indices in the Iranian economy was presented and then the conditional correlation between the returns of these assets was estimated using the dynamic DCC-GARCH conditional correlation method. Conditional correlation between currency and stock markets as well as coins and stock exchanges has increased significantly from a period of calm to a period of turmoil. These results are consistent with the results of the transfer test using t-test statistics. The results showed the existence of transitions between the markets and transitions between the foreign exchange and gold markets. The results also showed that the oil market, because it is the most important source of Iran's income, has a major impact on the gold, currency, and stock markets.

OPEC was established to play a greater role in the international energy system, and over a period of time, the trans-OPEC states have tried to influence the functioning and status of the organization. One of these actors has been the United States, which has influenced the organization by adopting various policies and plans, even after the discovery of Shale technology, which is becoming a major supplier of oil. In this regard, this piece of research seeks to address the important question of how the US energy policies during the Trump presidency affected OPEC? to answer the question, it is hypothesized that with the discovery of Shale technology and its expansion during Trump's presidency, the United States has tried to establish a new international energy order as well as to change the traditional energy geopolitics in order to sideline the organization. This research analyzes the issue by applying the theory of realism as well as using an explanatory method with primary and secondary data including documents, reports, speeches, books, articles, and valid websites. Finally, the findings of the study emphasize the fact that it is necessary for Iranian officials and policymakers to know and understand US energy policies, especially during the Trump era and developments in the global energy system so that to be able to try moderating the consequences of the sanctions and paving the way for Iran’s return as one of the significant players of the field of energy in the international system

Today, energy supply is one of the most important axes of the strategy of different countries due to its vital role in the continuation of technological and economic development of countries. The Petroleum industry, as one of the most important industries producing energy, has become an important and special industry due to the complexities of its production and extraction. Therefore, classification and prioritization of changes have taken place, and presenting a model of how to deal with changes can play an important and fundamental role in managing changes in executive projects. Of course, no project can completely eliminate the risk of change, but it can be largely prevented by identifying the underlying causes of change.
In this study, an attempt has been made to compile a study and present a questionnaire and interview with experts and specialists in the oil industry, information, and existing records, which resulted in finding 20 of the most effective changes in EPC projects in the field of the petroleum industry. For this purpose, after reviewing and analyzing the changes, the model of dealing with the changes in EPC projects is presented and then according to the main parts of EPC projects, the most effective cases of each part are determined by using multi-criteria decision-making methods consisting of series. Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Gray Relationship Analysis (GRA) have been proposed to provide a change management structure in EPC projects in the oil industry. Based on the obtained results, it was found that the design and engineering (E) phase has the greatest impact on the changes made in EPC projects, followed by the manufacturing and construction (C) and procurement (P) phases. This research could be useful for prioritizing and managing change and minimizing the impact of unintended changes on EPC projects in the petroleum industry

In this study, the sensitivity of Iranian oil export revenue to the OPEC summit statements (increase, decrease, and stability of production level) was investigated and analyzed using the structural self-regression model (SVAR) in the form of a Quantile approach. For this purpose, the required data were collected in three quanta during the years 2019-1989: ($ 40>), ($ 70-40) and ($ 70<) on a monthly basis from the OPEC Secretariat and the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The results of the sensitivity analysis in the mentioned quantiles showed that with the increase of the oil price from the quantile ($ 40) to ($ 70-40) and ($ 70 <), the sensitivity of the Iranian oil export revenues to the oil price decreases. Also, in the quantiles studied, the most sensitivity of Iran's oil revenues has been seen first to the shock caused by the decrease statement, then to the shock caused by the increase statement, and finally, to the shock caused by the stability statement of the OPEC production level. In addition, with the rise in crude oil prices, the sensitivity of Iran's oil revenues to these statements is declining. According to the high economic dependency on oil export revenue and the sensitivity of these revenues to the OPEC statements, it is suggested to energy policymakers to implement the policies in order to increase producing high value-added oil products instead of selling crude oil
