In this study, using pooled Ordinary Least Squares and panel data approaches, the relationship between these two factors in OPEC countries is estimated during 2003-2010. Along with the oil and mineral rents (as a measure of natural resource abundance), other control variables such as per capita income, degree of openness and democracy are applied. The results show that the oil and mineral rents have significant and positive effect on the corruption level. This relationship, using other measures instead of the oil rents, is re-confirmed. Per capita income and openness also have significant negative effects on the corruption level, and there is no evidence that improving democracy reduces the corruption level, although it moderates the negative effect of natural resources on the corruption.}, keywords = {Natural Resource Rents,Oil Rents,Corruption,Democracy,Panel Data,OPEC}, title_fa = {رانت منابع طبیعی و فساد درکشورهای عضو اوپک: کاربرد الگوی داده‌های تابلویی}, abstract_fa = {امروزه فراوانی منابع طبیعی و فساد اداری از مقولات مهم و مورد توجه اقتصادی به ویژه در کشورهای در حال توسعه است. در مطالعه حاضر رابطه میان این دو مقوله در کشورهای عضو اوپک با استفاده از روشهای حداقل مربعات معمولی ترکیبی و الگوی ای تابلویی طی دوره زمانی 2003-2010 بررسی میشود. در کنار رانتهای نفتی و مواد معدنی (به عنوان معیارهای فراوانی منابع طبیعی) از متغیرهای دیگری نظیر درآمد سرانه، درجه باز بودن اقتصاد و دموکراسی به عنوان متغیرهای کنترل استفاده شده است. نتایج برآورد اثر مثبت و معنیدار رانت نفت و مواد معدنی را بر سطح فساد تأیید میکند. با لحاظ کردن معیارهای دیگر به جای رانتهای نفتی، وجود این رابطه مجدداً تأیید میشود. درآمد سرانه و درجه باز بودن اقتصاد نیز رابطه منفی معنیداری با سطح فساد دارند و هیچگونه شواهدی مبنی بر اینکه بهبود دموکراسی سطح فساد را کاهش میدهد، وجود ندارد؛ هرچند که بهبود آن اثر منفی منابع طبیعی را بر فساد تعدیل میکند.}, keywords_fa = {رانت منابع طبیعی,رانت نفت,فساد,دموکراسی,داده‌های تابلویی,اوپک}, url = {https://jiee.atu.ac.ir/article_562.html}, eprint = {https://jiee.atu.ac.ir/article_562_4a7296fc81337c5cdbbc47ca69c4d307.pdf} }
