It is therefore, of paramount importance to recognize the major factors that influence it. Financial development and trade openness are usually considered as two significant factors that affect economic growth in various ways. Using a vector error correction model (VECM), this study investigates the causality relationship between financial development, trade openness and economic growth in two major oil producing countries , Iran and Norway.  The study period for Iran is 1967-2009, and for Norway is 1967-2006.The ratio of liquidity to GDP and the ratio of bank credit to the private sector to GDP have been used as two financial development indices. The trade openness and economic growth have been illustrated using trade intensity index and the GDP per capita. Findings of the study indicate that financial development and trade openness are both significant cause of economic growth in Iran in the short run. There is also a bi-directional causality between both indicators of financial development and economic growth in the long run. In Norwegian economy it is indicated that there is a significant causal relationship between bank credit to the private sector and economic growth in the short-term, and there also is a bi-directional causality between bank credit to the private sector and trade intensity in Norway in the long- term. Therefore, it can be concluded that according to the findings of this study, practically there is the supply side view in Iran, while there is the demand side view in Norway.}, keywords = {Financial Development,Financial Deepening,Economic Growth,Vector Error Correction Model}, title_fa = {بررسی رابطه علیت پویای بین توسعه مالی، باز بودن تجاری و رشد اقتصادی؛ مقایسه موردی دو کشورنفتی ایران و نروژ}, abstract_fa = {دستیابی به رشد اقتصادی یکی از مهمترین اهداف اقتصادی کشورها است و برای نیل به این هدف، شناخت عوامل تأثیرگذار بر آن، بسیار مهم می باشد. توسعه مالی و باز بودن تجاری، دو عامل بسیار مهم مؤثر بر رشد اقتصادی هستند که از طرق مختلف رشد اقتصادی را تحت تأثیر قرار می دهند.  در این مطالعه به بررسی رابطه علیت بین توسعه مالی، باز بودن تجاری و رشد اقتصادی در ایران و نروژ، با استفاده ازمدل تصحیح خطای برداری (VECM) پرداخته شده است. دوره مورد مطالعه برای ایران سالهای 2009-1967 و برای نروژ سالهای 2006-1967 میباشد. برای توسعه مالی از دو شاخص نسبت حجمنقدینگی بهGDP و نسبت اعتبارات اعطایی به بخش خصوصی بهGDP استفاده و برای نشان دادن باز بودن تجاری و رشد اقتصادی نیز، دو شاخص شدت تجاری و تولید ناخالص داخلی سرانه مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. نتایج تحقیق نشان میدهد که در اقتصاد ایران، شاخصهای توسعه مالی  و باز بودن تجاری علت کوتاهمدت رشد اقتصادی است. در بلندمدت نیز بین هر دو شاخص توسعه مالی و رشد اقتصادی رابطه علیت دوطرفه برقرار است. نتایج رابطه علیت در کشور نروژ نشان میدهد که در کوتاهمدت یک رابطه علیت یکطرفه از سمت رشد اقتصادی به سوی شاخص اعتبارات اعطایی به بخش خصوصی وجود دارد. همچنین در بلندمدت بین شاخصهای اعتبارات اعطایی به بخش خصوصی و شدت تجاری رابطه دوسویه وجود دارد و یک رابطه یکطرفه از سمت رشد اقتصادی به سوی شاخص اعتبارات اعطایی به بخش خصوصی نیز برقرار است. بنابراین میتوان گفت که در ایران دیدگاه طرف عرضه و در نروژ دیدگاه طرف تقاضا صادق است.  }, keywords_fa = {توسعه مالی,باز بودن تجاری,رشد اقتصادی,مدل تصحیح خطای برداری}, url = {https://jiee.atu.ac.ir/article_537.html}, eprint = {https://jiee.atu.ac.ir/article_537_d12928d934f0d91a1096ba626b2ce665.pdf} }
